Create Custom Canvas Prints From Digital Photos
February 1, 2010
When it comes to artist quality canvas prints, it may not feel quite as ‘customized’ to you as when you have complete control of the customization process. But when you print your digital photos on canvas, having that control is not just an option — it’s a right. And it makes for a most satisfying feeling when people see your custom canvas prints and like them as much as you do.
Let us show you how to get there.

Enhance your photos with an image editor. You can opt for professional software like Adobe and Corel, or you can choose from a variety of free image editors you can use online or download on your computer. Pixlr is a fine example of an online photo editor. Experiment with different effects and additional elements; you may discover new and interesting ways to change the look of your digital photos.
Upload your photos right from our product page. Click either of the two order option buttons on the Canvas product page, and you’ll be guided on a step-by-step process of uploading your photos to our servers. You’ll need to create an account before you finish saving it, but we don’t ask for credit card information until you’ve clearly indicated your readiness to pay.
Get free prepress help and press-ready digital proofs. Our prepress team routinely checks for errors in job orders to make sure you’re completely satisfied with your canvas printing order. We’ll call you up or email you ASAP if we spot any problems in your photos. And in any stage of the proofing process, you can download a free, press-ready .pdf proof of your photos that you can keep, whether or not you decide to print with us.
Choose any size; get free borders if you like. Specify the size you want on our Rolled Canvas product page, where you can opt to have two-inch borders added to your canvas prints for ease when it’s time for you to frame them.
Or choose from our standard sizes and professional gallery wrapping options. We have six standard size options for your canvas prints if you want them to arrive at your door ready to decorate your walls. Your gallery wrapping options are:
- Gallery Wrap – where your image extends to the borders of your mounted canvas prints, and
- Museum Wrap – where we add borders to your digital photos so your whole image stays in front of the frame. Please specify with your order whether you’d like a black or a white border.
Have greater control on your photo printing on canvas by entrusting it to a printer that lets you exercise the right to choose. Find out more of what our printing services can offer you at Large Format Posters.com today!
