Cap Your 4th of July Shindig with These Banner Ideas

July 1, 2009

Smart Design

Holding a BBQ party this Fourth of July? Independence Day is a great occasion to have fun, enjoy fireworks, and remember how good it is to be American.

But just like this holiday isn’t complete without fireworks, your party isn’t complete without themed banners to get your partygoers into the occasion’s mood. Try out these quick design ideas to make your weekend party vinyl banners simply radiate patriotism.

Fourth of July Banner Design Ideas

Red, White and Blue

You don’t have to place the flag on your outdoor banner prints for them to shout Independence Day. You can do whatever you want with your banner design as long as you use these three signature colors.

Don’t feel like you have to stick to the same color tones most other people use; be unique in your choices of hue all you like, as long as they’re still red, white and blue.

Symbols

Mix in symbols of what this day and this country mean for you. From images of hot dogs and baseball to soldiers, show off what you and your party goers think being American is all about. There’s no better time to get patriotic in a personal way, so go ahead and get all out!

Uncle Sam

Ever since his image was used to support the war effort in 1812, Uncle Sam has been the country’s favorite poster boy for any patriotic occasion. Invite him over to your 4th of July party banners as well. Think about it; Uncle Sam on your digital banner prints will be like telling your guests, “I want YOU to have a rocking good time this Fourth of July!”
